5 Tips for a better nights sleep!
1. Exercise regularly!
Not too late in the evening though. Focus on exercising during daylight hours as exercise increases adrenaline, which is not conducive to sleeping!
2. Reduce blue light exposure during the evening. Most smart devices these days have blue light filters which you can switch on or there are blue-light blocking glasses now available.
3. Try to get into a sleep routine! Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Believe it or not, you might even start to wake up naturally each day without an alarm!
4. Relax & clear your mind before bed. Having a hot bath, listening to relaxing music or meditating works wonders for a busy mind.
5. Don't eat too late in the evening. According to studies, eating a large meal late in the evening can cause hormone disruption and a poor sleep. That's where Plate Up can really come in handy!
